What are you imaging about the "TOKYO"? Probably you are imaging these places where are Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku and Roppongi.These places are Just one place name in "TOKYO". Today I want to walk you the real Tokyo where is Tokyo Station.

Tokyo Station, it is a station that represents Japan and has been used by many people until now. It is very famous for the Tokyo Station building is historically valuable. Tokyo station is huge busy railway station in the world, more than 3K trains arriving and departing daily, also more than 500K people are using Tokyo Station every day. This sinter-city railway terminal station is several trains starting point, also Shinkansen’s starting point too. (*Tokyo Station has 4 types of Shinkansen that are Tokaido, Tohoku, Joetsu & Hokuriku.)

The first thing you see when you get off at Tokyo Station is the attractive Tokyo Station Building. This old-fashioned vintage style Tokyo Station was opened in 20th Dec, 1914.  The following year that was 1915, the Tokyo Station Hotel opened adjacent to the Marunouchi west side of the Tokyo station. Let's take a look inside Tokyo Station. The ticket gates in the Marunouchi side are dome-shaped and have an interior reminiscent of European style, like a London Station also Paris Lyon Station, Inbound Tourists who come to Japan may feel nostalgic when they visit here. The Tokyo Station Hotel is also adjacent to this gate, also this hotel's interior is same style of Tokyo Station, even elevator is same interior style too, that is so beautiful.

So, Tokyo station has 2 Area, "Marunouchi Area" west-side and "Yaesu Area" east-side, Both Marunouchi and Yaesu feel like completely different cities, to be honest Marunouchi Area is very clean and beautiful than Yaesu Area.
